The Bavarian Oberland has treats in store for you in every season. In winter you can go skiing, ice-skating, tobogganing and snowshoeing, whereas in summer you can go sailing, hiking, swimming, surfing, golfing and cycling. The Hackensee lake is a 30-minute stroll from the hotel and a 60-minute stroll from the Kirchsee lake. This marshland lake is a popular spot for bathing, just like the Schliersee and Tegernsee lakes which are a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The mountains and sunny pastures of Wendelstein, Rotwandgebiet, Großer Traithen and Kleiner Traithen are near Bayrischzell, around a 40-minute drive from the hotel. The Tegernsee mountains of Wallberg, Hirschberg and Blaubergen are only a 20-minute drive from the hotel. You can experience original mountain pastures here from an altitude of 800 metres upwards.
